We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in a Long-term Contract position. This onsite opportunity is well suited for an entry-level candidate who is eager to build accounting experience in a fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable adjusting to shifting priorities, and ready to support day-to-day financial operations with accuracy and consistency.

Responsibilities:
• Process and code invoices, enter financial data accurately, and prepare documents for distribution or recordkeeping.
• Support routine accounts payable and accounts receivable activities by maintaining organized records and helping keep transactions current.
• Complete daily sales reconciliations and investigate basic discrepancies to help maintain accurate reporting.
• Prepare and upload journal entries while ensuring supporting information is properly documented.
• Review vendor or account statements and assist with follow-up on outstanding items or inconsistencies.
• Record corporate card activity and maintain accurate expense documentation for accounting records.
• Organize files and assemble supporting materials needed for audit preparation and year-end close activities.
• Provide administrative and accounting support during the organization’s November go-live period and assist with shifting priorities as business needs change.• Entry-level accounting experience, internship experience, or a recent degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain careful attention to detail.
• Willingness to take on new assignments and adapt quickly in a changing work environment.
• Familiarity with invoice processing, data entry, and basic accounting support functions.
• Exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation work.
• Experience using Sage or the ability to learn accounting software quickly.
• Availability to work onsite in Allentown, Pennsylvania with a schedule that may range from 25 to 40 hours per week.
