Entry Level Accountant temp to perm full time
Essential Job Duties
Performs general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization.
• Maintains the general ledger, books journal entries and provides supporting documentation for monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts.
• Reviews AP invoices for accuracy and approves to an approved spending amount.
• Reviews AR deductions and manages collections for specified customers.
• Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
• Files tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
• Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
• Report analysis and findings to management team.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• A minimum of an Associate’s degree in Accounting with 5 years of experience is required.
• Ability to tackle issues and solve problems.
• Very strong interpersonal skills to help build our team.
• Critical thinking.
• Time management skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to maintain confidentiality.
Advanced Microsoft Excel Abilities.
Physical Requirements / Environment
Prolonged sitting, some standing, bending, squatting, twisting, pushing pulling, lifting overhead.
